Details
ESSID
The name of the wireless LAN to which the AP belongs. Changing the ESSID causes the AP to be
disconnected from the network. Enter a name up to 32 alphanumeric characters. The name is case
sensitive.
Factory default setting : LocalGroup
Channel number (This item available when the unit type is Access point.)
Sets the channel number. Setting-able channel numbers are from 36 to 64, 149 to 165 when
IEEE802.11a and from 1 to11 when IEEE802.11b/IEEE802.11g.
Factory default setting : 36ch (Wireless Lan standard is IEEE802.11a)
Transmission rate
Sets the wireless transmission rate.
Select one from Auto, 54Mpbs, 48Mbps, 36Mpbs, 24Mpbs, 18Mpbs, 12 Mpbs, 9 Mpbs,
6 Mpbs when IEEE802.11a.
Select one from 11Mpbs, 5.5Mbps, 2Mpbs, 1Mpbs when IEEE802.11b.
Select one from Auto, 54Mpbs, 48Mbps, 36Mpbs, 24Mpbs, 18Mpbs, 12 Mpbs, 9 Mpbs,
6 Mpbs, 11Mpbs, 5.5Mbps, 2Mpbs, 1Mpbs when IEEE802.11g.
Factory default setting : Auto
Beacon transmission rate
Specify the beacon transmission rate. The options available to this item are the same as those for the
above transmission rate except Auto.
Factory default setting : 6Mbps (Wireless Lan standard is IEEE802.11a)
Transmission output
You can decrease the transmission output to 50% or 25% by software setting. To decrease the
output, select either.
