release button,

causing

the

front

cover

to open up

slightly.

Then

lower

the

front

cover

fully

with

the finger,

and

simulta-

neously

the

lens unit

will

fully extend

and

the

camera

circuitry

will switch

on,

readying

the

shutter,

film advance

and

other systems

for ac-

tion.

o

When the

front

cover

is

partially

or

fully clos-

ed,

it will

cut off

the

power

source

and

make the

carnera

inoperative.
