Operation Manual
d) Automatic calibration of actuator
During the automatic calibration of the actuator (actuator moves to both end posi-
tions), “CAL” is displayed.
☞
If the calibration of the actuator is not successful, the error mes-
sage “ErrC” is displayed and the “actuator not calibrated” sym-
bol (12) is shown. Press the “PROG” button to confirm the
error message.
If the calibration is not successful, the radiator actuator might
not have been installed properly or the wrong adapter ring has
been used.
The “actuator not calibrated” symbol (12) is displayed until
the actuator has been calibrated successfully.
Without calibration, the actuator cannot be used properly.
For this reason, irrespective of the operating mode or the acti-
vated function, the motor is not operated until calibration is suc-
cessful.
You can abort the calibration process by holding down any but-
ton for some time.
9. Operating modes
☞
When used for the first time, the radiator thermostat with actua-
tor is in manual operating mode “MAN” after setup.
If it has been used before, the radiator thermostat with actuator
automatically selects the operating mode saved before the bat-
teries were removed last.
A symbol on the left-hand side of the display indicates the current operating
mode (8).
