6. Installation

Proceed as follows to ensure proper installation:

• Remove your current mechanical thermostat.

• If necessary, use a pipe wrench to loosen the screw

connection.

• Remove your current thermostat by turning it anti-

clockwise (see illustration to the right).

• Firmly screw the radiator actuator onto the radiator

valve by turning the coupling nut.

The coupling nut on the radiator actuator is suit-

able, for example, for valves of the following man-

ufacturers:

Heimeier (M 30 x 1.5)

Oventrop Type A (M 30 x 1.5)

Oventrop AV6 (M 30 x 1.5)

Comap D805 (M 30 x 1.5)

Additional Danfoss adapters are included in delivery for:

RA, RAV, and RAVL valves.

The adapters designed for valve types “RAV” or “RA” have to be fixed with the pro-

vided screw and nut after snapping them onto the valve body.

For type “RAV” valves, the cylindrical extension piece has to be put onto the valve

pin additionally.
