Never operate the product when it is covered. Always ensure
sufficient ventilation.
Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure about the
safety or the correct use of the device. This applies to the
installation in particular.
To avoid interferences, no devices with strong electric fields
such as e.g. mobile phones, radio devices, electric engines
etc. must be in the proximity of the product.
Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended.
Plastic foil/bags etc. can become dangerous toys for chil-
dren, there is risk of suffocation.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, disconnect the device immediately and secure it
against inadvertent operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device has been stored for longer periods under
unfavourable conditions or
- following considerable stress during transportation.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regula-
tions of the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for
Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be
observed.
The product is only suitable for dry indoor use.
The device may only be powered with 2 AA batteries (type:
AA, 1,5 V/DC).
Make sure that the device is not connected to the power sup-
ply during installation.
The product can be damaged by pressure, traction or when
dropped even from a low height.
Never pour liquids on electrical devices. There is a risk of
fire.
Maintenance, adjustment and repairs may only be carried out
by a qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
