Intende use
This weekly timer switch is intended for installation and connection in the distribution box (DIN
rail mounting) in a domestic electrical installation. For information on the permissible operating
voltage and the required power input, see the section “Technical Data”.
Use other than that described above may lead to damage to the product and additional risks,
such as short circuit, re, electric shock etc. No part of the product may be changed or modi ed.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail! No part of the product may be modi ed
or converted!

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any con-
sequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper handling or non-compliance with these safety instructions. In
such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
Only a specialist who is familiar with the speci cations (VDE) and the dangers
should install this product.
The weekly timer switch must be installed in the distribution box of a domestic
electrical installation (DIN rail mounting) so it is safe to touch (shock-proof).
The electric circuit must be de-energised before starting the installation of the
weekly timer, or if maintenance work is to be carried out in the distribution box.
Precautionary measures must be taken to ensure that the equipment cannot be
switched on by unauthorised persons.
Do not use the weekly timer switch in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions
where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present. For your own
safety, never allow the weekly timer switch to get wet or damp.
Live components may be exposed, when the covering is opened or components
are removed. Connection points may also be live. Before servicing or repair work
is carried out, or components or assemblies are replaced, the weekly timer switch
must be disconnected from the mains voltage. Maintenance or repair work on
the weekly timer switch must always be carried out by SUITABLY QUALIFIED
PERSONNEL, who are familiar with the hazards involved and with the relevant
regulations.
If you have reasons to believe that safe operation is no longer possible any, dis-
connect the weekly timer switch immediately and secure it against inadvertent
operation. It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the weekly timer switch has visible damage
- the weekly timer switch no longer works
- - the device has been stored for long periods under unfavourable conditions
- the product may have been exposed to heavy stress during transport.
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are
to be observed.
The weekly timer switch must not be used outdoors in the open air.
This device is not a toy for children!
Functional Description
By means of this weekly timer switch, 8 different on/off periods (blocks) can be programmed.
The following settings for the days of the week, or groups of days, are also available:
(Mo = Monday, Tu = Tuesday, We = Wednesday, Th = Thursday, Fr = Friday, Sa = Saturday,
Su = Sunday); (ON, OFF)
Either individual days “Mo”, “Tu”, “We”, “Th”, “Fr”, “Sa”, “Su”, or different groups
1. Group “Mo - Tu - We - Th - Fr”,
2. Group “Sa - Su”,
3. Group “Mo - Tu - We - Th - Fr - Sa”,
4. Group “Mo, Tu, We”,
5. Group “Th, Fr, Sa”
6. Group “Mo, We, Fr”,
7. Group “Tu, Th, Sa”,
8. Group “Mo - Tu - We - Th - Fr - Sa - Su”,
The connected load can also be switched on and off manually. An integrated back-up battery
protects the weekly timer switch in the event of a short-duration power failure.

Installation / Electrical Connection
In the interests of your own safety, you must always comply with the safety
instructions.
Only a specialist who is familiar with the speci cations (VDE) and the dangers
should install this product.
First, remove the transparent plastic protection strips on the side of the weekly timer switch.
They are only there to protect the backup battery in the device from premature discharge.
Install the weekly timer switch on the switchboard or in the distribution box of a domestic
electrical installation.
The connection is made with screw terminals.

3 - 4 Voltage supply 200 - 240 V/AC, 50-60 Hz
8 - 7 - 6 Changeover contact for connecting a load (for switching capacity, see Chapter
“Technical data”); please observe the circuit diagram on the weekly timer switch‘s
housing
