Pay attention to the adherence to VDE-guidelines! In case measurements are to
be done at the live parts of the circuit, the circuit must then be connected to a
safety-isolating transformer.
In no case should measurements be conducted on the circuit, when it is directly
connected to the mains (risk to life!). Although the circuit is simply a replica, in
case of non-functioning it should be checked only by an expert, because he is
adequately familiar with the applicable safety regulations.
2.2 For the first start-up (functional test) please use a separate mains supply,
whose voltage is fed via the rectifier D1 (“+”, at the plus-marking of D1 and “-” at
the minus marking of D1).
