Components required:
1x breadboard
1x LED red

4x 220-ohm series resistor

1x 1-kOhm resistor
1x 10-kOhm resistor

This figure shows the lower contact strip of the button connected via the positive rail of the breadboard to
the +3.3 V wire of the Raspberry Pi (Pin 1). To connect the button to the positive rail, we will use a short
jumper to keep the drawing clear. Alternatively, you can also connect one of the lower contacts of the button
directly with a connecting cable to Pin 1 of the Raspberry Pi.
The upper contact strip of the pushbutton featured in this figure is connected via a 1 Kohm protection resistor
(brown-black-red) to the GPIO port 25 and a 10-kohm pull-down resistor (brown-black-orange) to the ground
wire.
