16 JK-Flipflop
The JK flipflop derives its name from the inputs J and K. They are now
examined in more detail. Connect the two pushbuttons with the
associated resistors to the inputs J and K of the upper flipflop. Use the
applied cycle to test all conditions of J and K. One function is already
known from the previous tests: With J = 1 and K = 1, the output toggles
at every positive cycle flank. Now also try out the other states. With J =
0 and K = 0 the output Q will retain its condition. The flipflop does not
react to cycle impulses. When both inputs J and K are unequal, the
flipflop assumes the J condition for Q at the next cycle impulse.
Generally, the inverted output /Q shows the inverted condition of Q.
