ADJUSTABLE BALL MOUNT: 1625200 Installation Guide
1. Hitch Ball Selection: Ball diameter must match trailer coupler size. The most common sizes are
1-7/8”, 2” and 2-5/16”. This hitch can accommodate 1” threaded balls and is V-5 rated equal to
or greater than gross trailer weight (GTW).
Warning- Raised balls usually have reduced load ratings. Ball rating must equal or exceed
trailer GTW
2. Attach Ball to Mount: Attach hitch ball with 1” shank using the lock washer and nut. Unless
otherwise specified by ball manufacturer, torque ball nut to 250ft/lbs for 1” nut after mount is
attached to hitch.
3. Adjust Ball Height: Insert hitch shank into the hitch receiver opening and install your own hitch
pin or hitch lock to securely lock into place. Then slide the ball mount portion into the hitch
shank to your desired height, either rise or drop. The holes are 1.5” apart. Then install provided
hitch pin to lock in your desired height.
4. Always offset ball mount towards tongue of trailer, never towards the tow vehicle.
