ConnectPro as a Console Application
ConnectProcanberunasaconsoleapplicationwhenitisinstalledonaWindowssystem.Use
commandlineswitchestoconfigureoptions,orusecommandswhileitisrunningtoperform
actions.
UsethefollowingswitchesbeforestartingConnectPro:
Switch Function
-c[configfile] SpecifiestheconfigurationfilethatConnectProuses,where
[configfile]isthenameoftheconfigurationfile.Forexample:
[-c c:\proxy\proxy.cfg].
Includetheentirepathwiththefilenameifitislocatedindifferent
directorythanthedefault.Forexample:
[-cc:\termproxy config\proxy.cfg”].
Bydefault,ConnectProusesTermProxy.cfgwithinthedirectory
wherewltermproxyservice.exe isinstalled.
-h DisplaystheConnectProhelp,whichliststheavailableswitches.
-k[configfile] IndicatestheX509certificateprivatekeyfilelocation.Thisoption
specifiesthelocationofa.pemkeyfiletobeusedifthekeyfileisnot
inthedirectorywherethe wltermproxyservice.exe resides.
Forexample:
[-k c:\secure\skey.pem]
-l[level] SetstheConnectPrologginglevel.The[loglevel]parameteristhe
loggingleveltowhichyouwanttosetConnectPro.[loglevel]canbe
anynumberfrom0to5(0beingthelowestlogginglevel).This
methoddoesnotallowverbosemodetobeset.Forinformation

-s[certfile] IndicatestheX509servercertificatefilelocation.Thisoptionspecifies
thelocationofa.pemcertificatefiletobeusedifcertificatefileisnot
inthedirectorywherethe wltermproxyservice.exe resides.
Forexample:
[-s c:\secure\scert.pem]
-u[httpacct] IndicatestheConnectProwebserveraccountusernameand
passwordonthecommandline.
