WhileConnectProisrunning,ConnectProwillnotallowthelogfiletogrowbeyond100KB.
Oncethelogfilereaches100KB,ConnectProcreatesanewlogfilecalled
TermProxy.log.xxx,where xxx isasequentialnumberthatbeginsat001.Thecontentsof
theseadditionallogfilesarewrittentoTermProxy.log.bakwhenConnectProisstarted.
Thissectionprovidesthefollowinginformation:

Setting the Logging Level
ConnectProprovidessixlogginglevels.Thefollowingtabledescribesthetypeofinformation
thatwillbewrittento TermProxy.log foreachlevel.
Log Level Information Written to theLog
Level1 Writesonlycriticalerrorstothelogfile,suchaserrorsthat
causeConnectProtofailtostart.
Level2 Writescriticalerrorsanderrormessagestothelogfile.This
includeserrorsthatarecausedbyconfigurationand/or
communicationproblems.
Level3 Writescriticalerrors,errormessages,andwarningstothe
logfile.Thisincludespossibleoperationalproblems.
Level4 Writescriticalerrors,errormessages,warnings,and
informationalmessagestothelogfile.Thisincludes
informationabouttheflowofoperation.
Level5 Writescriticalerrors,errormessages,warnings,
informationalmessages,anddebuginformationtothelog
file.Thisincludesinformationfordiagnosingprogram
malfunctionsorcommunicationproblems.
Level6 Writescriticalerrors,errormessages,warnings,information
messages,debuginformationandallotherinformationto
thelogfile.Thislevelcauseslargeamountsofdatatobe
writtentothelogfile.
