Soap

• Cut pipe square

• Apply liquid soap to pipe

and Gasket

• Insert pipe until you feel

resistance from Gasket

• STOP and check alignment

• Misalignment will cause

damage

• Apply SLOW, STEADY force

• Twist pipe and/or ﬁtting

• Insert pipe until mark is no

longer visible & you can’t

push any further

• Twist ﬁtting to desired

alignment

• Mark insertion depth

per table below

• Sand pipe for minimum

of 20 seconds

• More sanding = easier

• Wipe off all debris
