HOWTOSETUPBROADCASTFORMULTIPLESYSTEM
There are times were UDP broadcast (send) might be required for more than one system at a time.
I’m going to assume that both M300 systems will be in acquisition mode.
Since only one M300 system is allowed to send on a port, we must make sure that both M300
systems that are going to send data will be using different ports.
For the M300 systems we have two ports in the /etc/services files for UDP broadcast. We can add
more if necessary.
sea-udp 2001/udp
radar-udp 2000/udp
For the first M300 system.
Start the M300 and then change the UDP broadcast settings.
To change the UDP settings for the M300 (See “General Tab on page 76).
We will setup the Port Name to sea-udp (port 2001).
Then we can follow the instructions for Acquisition mode, (See “Acquiring Data” on page 80).
We will need to make sure we enable the broadcast button (See “Broadcasting Data” on page 83).
