AlphabeticalOrder
This allows the user to reverse the alphabetical sort order for the windows in the drop down display
list. If button is depressed, the order is reversed.
WindowType
If the user has a large list of windows, and they are only looking for a particular window type, then it
can be filtered here. For example, if the user is looking for a strip chart window, then they can pick
‘stp’ from the window type filter. When they look at the drop down list, only strip chart windows are
displayed.
DropDownSelectList
Lists all of the current data display windows. This allows you to quickly select a window and bring it
to the front. If the window is in another Photon console, the console will be switched to bring the
window in view.
As explained above, the user can select all or some of the windows to look at in the drop down list.
Name
The name text box displays the name of the current window. It also allows the user to change the
name of the window to a new name if desired.
When the user changes the window name, the corresponding displays are switched to the new name.
For example, if there was a text ‘txt’ window named ‘main’ and it was changed to ‘maintxt’, then all
the entries in the txt.300 file would be changed to use the new window name.
Window names/numbers must be unique.
PROJECTTAB
The project tab allows the user to enter and display information about the project. The information
entered will be subsequently written into any new acquisition files created. Also, the project
