CloseWrite
1. In the File menu, select Close Write (Shortcut: Alt+F, W).
Closes a file being written to.

CloseRead
1. In the File menu, select Close Read (Shortcut: Alt+F, R).
Closes a file being read from.
Properties
1. In the File menu, select Properties (Shortcut: Alt+F, P).
This will display the M300 file properties dialog which will facilitate modifying certain global
settings.
For a full description, (See “M300 File Properties Dialog” on page 73).
History
Separated by a line across the menu area, this section of the file menu stores most recently referenced
files (either by opening for reading, creating/opening for writing).
This area will store the paths and names of most recently used files. To open a particular file in the
history list, simple click on it.
If the user is in acquisition or UDP mode the file is assumed to be created (write). This will require
the user to overwrite the old file.
If the user is in playback mode, the file is assumed to be open (read).
The number of files on the list is selected in (See “History Count, File, Project, Window, Command”
on page 77).
Exit
1. In the File menu, select Exit (Shortcut: Alt+F, X).
This exits the M300 system. This is similar to clicking on the close “X” button for the M300
window.
The user will be asked to save the project, if the project was saved.
