4.6.3 Synchronization
Coupling to the control value during synchronization or sync off operations can be
defined differently, depending on the application.
This is defined by the:
• Synchronization mode
• Synchronization position
• Value of the synchronization position
• Synchronization criterion
• the direction of synchronization (modulo axes only)
You can set the following sync modes in the "Dynamics" tab of the Synchronous
operation > Default dialog box:
• Leading axis-related synchronization profile: Synchronization and sync off
based on control values
• Time-related synchronization profile: Synchronization and sync off based on
dynamic values
