adhered with the Congoleum AS-01 adhesive.
The listed products are manufactured on Congoleum
Fibrous Felt Inner Layer and Dense Flexible Vinyl
Composite Backing.
ArmorCore Products are 6’ and 12’ wide flexible floors
that feature UltraTec construction. This construction
provides controlled stability and eliminates curl allowing
the flooring to be installed by the Your Choice Plus
Installation System which includes the fully adhered,
perimeter fastened and loose lay installation methods.
Depending on the method used, the floor can be installed
with AS-01 Adhesive or QuikStik Tape.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS:
The best method for a particular job depends on the
subfloor conditions. For example, the fully adhered
method is recommended where the subfloor is smooth,
structurally sound and free of movement, in a variety of
applications including complex room layouts or where net
fitting or coving is required.
The perimeter fastening and loose lay methods provide
subfloor masking benefits to allow installation over a
greater variety of surfaces that might otherwise be
unsatisfactory for a fully adhered application.
The loose lay method is recommended for room layouts
where trim can be installed around the entire perimeter.
The perimeter fastening method can be used for most
applications and it provides not only subfloor masking
benefits, but also provides the option to fit flooring net
where it is not desirable to install trim. Plus AS-01
Adhesive provides a releasable bond, so in the event that
it becomes necessary to get access to the subfloor, you
can pull the sheet back without damaging it.

Installation Temperature
Congoleum residential sheet flooring is designed to be
installed in enclosed, heated areas only where HVAC has
been in operation for at least 10 days prior to installation
and thereafter.
For best results the sheet flooring should be installed at
the same temperature as the room(s) will be when
occupied or in service. The subfloor, all flooring material,
and adhesive must be conditioned at a constant
temperature between 65°F (18°C) and 85°F (29°C) for 48
hours before, during and 48 hours after installation.
Thereafter, maintain room temperature between 55°F
(13°C) and 100°F (38°C).
Handling and Storage
Roll all Congoleum sheet products face out, wrapped
tightly around a rigid core with a minimum 4” diameter
until ready for installation. Store and transport the roll on
a flat surface with continuous support in a clean, dry,
interior area where it is protected from the elements.
Ideal long-term storage temperatures range from 50°F
(10°C) to 70°F (21°C).
Avoid stacking other heavy rolls or objects on rolls that
can crush or distort them. Always handle rolls carefully to
avoid damage.
RECOMMENDED SUBFLOORS AND PREPARATION
Suitable Substrates
