17.7.6 Fan2 Wiring
Determines whether a three-wire or four-wire fan is connected to fan connector Fan2.
3 wires
A three-wire fan is connected.
4 wires
A four-wire fan is connected.
17.8 Onboard Device Conguration
Opens the submenu to congure devices on the system board. Some of them
are only available under certain conditions.
17.8.1 Audio Conguration
Azalia HD Audio
Allows the onboard Azalia HD (High Denition) audio controller to be enabled.
Disabled The onboard audio controller is disabled.
Enabled The onboard audio controller is enabled.
Front Panel Audio
Makes it possible to use a legacy front audio connector (AC97). The automatic check of
whether an audio connection is occupied is not
supported with this setting.
High denition
For the use of a high denition audio cable with automatic occupancy
recognition.
Legacy
For the use of a legacy audio cable without automatic occupancy recognition.
17.8.2 High Precision Event Timer Conguration
High Precision Timer
Provided that it is enabled, the operating system is able to make use of the High Precision
Event Timer, which allows it to meet the
requirements of time-critical applications. The
advanced timer is also known as the Multimedia Timer.
