17.4.1 LVDS Support
Determines whether the LVDS interface is available.
Disabled
The LVDS interface is not available.
Enabled
The LVDS interface is available.
17.4.2 LVDS Panel Cong Select
Determines the resolution of the LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signalling) interface. The
selected resolution should be the same as that of
the connected LCD panel.
By using the “LVDS” OEM tool, an additional LVDS adjusted parameters entry can be
created, which enables the use of freely congurable
LVDS parameters.
17.4.3 Non-EDID Support
For LCD panels that do not support a DDC (Display Data Channel), no EDID
(Extended Display Identication Data) is available.
For LCD panels without EDID support, Enabled must be set. To install a Linux operating
system, it may be necessary to initially select “Non-
EDID Support = Disabled”, despite
having a connected LVDS panel without DDC support. After the Linux and driver
installation is completed,
“Non-EDID Support = Enabled” can be set again.
Disabled
The LCD provides EDID.
Enabled
The LCD does not provide EDID.
17.4.4 LVDS Mode
The selected mode of the LVDS interface must be supported by the LCD panel used.
