On this page you can install the encryption methods that secure the data
flow from and to the Access Point.

You can use the different authentication methods. Tabl e 3-8 describes
the available methods.
3.5.7 Change WEP password
When you have selected the option

settings’ on page 35 appears. Follow the instructions below to change

Authentication
Select this method to allow clients to access to the
Access Point either without security (Open
Systems) or with a WEP security method. (See
Appendix B.6.1: ‘IEEE authentication’ on page 58.)
Open System When you select this option, clients have access
without a password. (See Appendix B.6.2: ‘Open
Systems method’ on page 58.)
WEP Change
password
When you select this option, you can activate the
WEP security method. (See Appendix B.6.3: ‘WEP
method’ on page 58.)
A Web Page Dialog called Enter New Password
appears, see section 3.5.7: ‘Change WEP
password’ on page 34.
