2.6. SIM Card Reader
The SIM card readers for 3 V and 1.8 V SIM cards are located on the front panel
of the router. To initiate the router into operation it is necessary to insert an activated SIM card
with unblocked PIN in the reader. The SIM cards might be of different adjusted APN (Access
Point Name).
2.7. Power Supply
The router requires +10 V DC to +30 V DC supply. Protection against reversed polarity
without signaling is built into the router.
The power consumption during receiving is 1 W. The peak power consumption during
data sending is 5,5 W. The peak power consumption when USB port used is 15 W.
For correct operation it is necessary that the power source is able to supply a peak current
of 1,3 A.
