1.19 L2TP tunnel configuration
To enter the L2TP tunnels configuration, select the L2TP menu item. L2TP tunnel allows
protected connection by password of two networks LAN to the one which it looks like one
homogenous. The tunnels are active after selecting Create L2TP tunnel.
Item Description
Mode L2TP tunnel mode on the router side:
L2TP server in the case of a server must define the start
and end IP address range offered by the server
L2TP client in case of client must define the IP address
of the server
Server IP Address IP address of server
Client Start IP Address Start IP address in range, which is of fered by server to clients
Client End IP Address End IP address in range, which is offered by server to clients
Local IP Address IP address of the local side of the tunnel
Remote IP Address IP address of the remote side of the tunnel
Remote Subnet Address of the network behind the remote side of the tunnel
Remote Subnet Mask The mask of the network behind the remote side of the tunnel
Username Username for login to L2TP tunnel
Password Password for login to L2TP tunnel
