5. Remote Control Explanation
The remote control is used to control the unit. On the inside cover of this manual you will find a picture of
the remote control. The numbers of the buttons correspond with the table below, to explain each function
of the remote control.

1 POWER ( ) Switch between Media Player Mode or Standby Mode
2 R / L Change the audio output (Stereo, Mono-L, Mono-R).
3 TOP Go to the top of the current file list.
4 MUSIC Start music playback mode with subdirectories.
5 FILE Show the ‘File Library’.
6 0 – 9 Numeric selection keys 0-9.
7 AUDIO Select or change the audio stream (DVD Playback).
8 SLIDE Start a Music-slide-show mode or start video step-play.
9 SLOW Play back slowly.
10 A – B Play a selected interval repeatedly.
11 REPEAT Select a repeat mode.
12 VOLUME
Increase the volume.
13 VOLUME
Decrease the volume.
14 BACK Back to the previous folder.

16 PREVIOUS (
) Switch to previous file or chapter.
17 PLAY/PAUSE Start the playback of a file or DVD-Folder or pause a playback.
18 REWIND (
) Fast Rewind during playback.
19 OUTPUT Select the Video Output Signal.
20 SETUP Open the Setup menu.
21 FAST FORWARD (
) Fast forward during playback.
22 STOP (
) Stop playback.
23 NEXT (
) Switch to next file or chapter.
24 ENTER (
) Confirm selection or start playback.
25 DISPLAY Show file information during playback.

Show the next page with files.
27 PAGE
Show the previous page with files.
28 MUTE Mute or cancel mute.
29 ROTATE Rotate photos.
30 DELAY Select the slide show (include music-slide-show) interval time.
31 ZOOM Zoom in or out (Photos & DVD Playback).
32 TRANS Select a mode of transition during a slideshow or a type of music
equalizer during music playback.
33 SUB-T Select or change movie Subtitle (MPEG4 & DVD Playback).
34 VIDEO Direct access button to your predefined Video folder.
35 PHOTO Direct access button to your predefined Photo folder.
36 FUNC Show the file operations menu.
37 P / N Select a video system. (PAL / NTSC)
38 MENU A. Show the ‘Device List’ or ‘File Library’
B. Return to the DVD Menu (DVD Playback).
39 Power LED The Power LED will blink when a button is pressed.
