3. Configuration diagram
In the picture below you will see an example configuration scheme.
4. Connecting the ADSL Router
4. Connect the ADSL router to a LAN (Local Area Network by using a HUB
or Switch) and the ADSL connection.
5. Power on the ADSL Router (and the HUB and Switch).
6. Ensure the Power and LAN LED’s are lit.
4.1 Configuring network setting on a Windows based computer (Windows
95/98(SE)/ME/2000/NT and XP)
* For more advanced settings of your network, please read the ‘Hardware
Installation Guide’. (English only.)
By default DHCP on the ADSL Router is enabled. When you have a network card
installed on your system. The DHCP server in the ADSL router will provide you a
TCP/IP address. You can keep the default settings for your network card. So you
don’t need to set TCP/IP, DNS etc.
Your computer is connected to your LAN now. You can access for example
internet by using the ADSL Router.
