start‐up,andservicethisequipment.
Whenworkingonthisequipment,observeprecautionsinliterature,andontags,stickers,and
labelslocatedontheequipment.Wearworkglovesandsafetyglasses.
WARNING:Thisequipmentcontainshazardousvoltagesthatcancausesevereinjuryordeath.
Disconnectandlockoutincomingpowerbeforeinstallingorservicingtheequipment.

Installation
ReceivingInspection
Eachchillerisskidmountedandboxedorcratedpriortoshipment.Ifthechillerhasaremote
air‐cooledcondenser,thechillerandthecondenserwillshipskidmountedandwillcontaina
holdingchargeofnitrogen.Beforeacceptingdelivery,checktheoverallequipmentcondition
foranyvisibledamageanddocumentanydamagethatisevidentonthedeliveryreceipt.
Shippingdamageistheresponsibilityofthecarrier.Inordertoexpeditepaymentfordamages,
itisimportanttofollowproperproceduresandrecordkeeping.Photographsofdamaged
equipmentareexcellentdocumentationforyourrecords.
Inspectforhiddendamageafter
removingthepacking.Refrigerantlinescanbesusceptibleto
damageintransit.Checkforbrokenlines,oilleaks,damagedcontrols,oranyothermajor
componenttornloosefromitsmountingpoint.
