built-in counter rest.

appliance near the barrel, as it is hot when in use.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use. Use
on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This unit is
designed to be opearted at 120 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not t, contact a quali ed electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
GETTING STARTED
The appliance's 30 temperature settings and
instant heat technology combine to provide
styling versatility for all hair textures. If you have
ne hair, a low temperature will provide the best
results. If you have thick, wavy or coarse hair,
keep the heat setting high. You can vary the
appliance’s temperature according to your
particular need!
Plug the appliance cord into any household outlet
(120V). Press power ON/OFF button. Red light will
blink until it reaches desired temperature setting
and then becomes solid. To activate Turbo Heat
®
,
press Turbo ON/OFF button and green light will go
on and increase straightening comb temperatures
up to 20°C/36°F. To turn off, press power ON/OFF
button again until red light goes out. Never leave
your appliance on and unattended. However,
should you fail to turn the unit off, it will shut itself
off automatically within 60 minutes.
STRAIGHTENING BASICS
Start with a hair section that is 2 inches wide and
no more than 1/2 inch thick. While maintaining
the tension, slowly pull the unit down along the
hair section toward the end of hair. Continue on
additional sections of hair until you achieve the
hairstyle you desire. It may be necessary to
repeat process on certain areas, depending on
the texture of your hair.
Some practice is necessary when learning to use
this straightening comb. After using comb
several times, you will learn the ideal way to
straighten and style your hair easily.
NOTE: Please refer to the temperature setting
guide for heat settings.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on
hair extensions.
For faster styling results, we have added a
unique optional Turbo Heat
®
ON/OFF feature.
Press the Turbo Heat
®
button to deliver up to
20°C/36°F more heat in the highest setting, for
maximum styling performance.

Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo
solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este
aparato ha sido diseñado para funcionar con
corriente de 120 V AC.
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que la
otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de
corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma de
corriente, inviértala. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un electricista.
No intente ir en contra de esta función de
seguridad.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Este aparato ofrece 30 opciones de temperatura,
para todo tipo de cabello, y calienta muy
rápidamente. Si su cabello es no, le
recomendamos que utilice un nivel de
temperatura bajo. Si su cabello es espeso,
grueso, ondulado o resistente, le recomendamos
que utilice un nivel de temperatura alto.
¡Personalice la temperatura, según su tipo de
cabello!
Conecte el cable a una toma de corriente de
120 V. Oprima el botón de encendido/apagado
ON/OFF. El indicador luminoso rojo parpadeará
hasta que la unidad alcance la temperatura
seleccionada; después, permanecerá encendido.
Para activar la función Turbo Heat
®
, oprima el
botón turbo; el indicador luminoso verde se
encenderá y la temperatura de las placas
aumentará de 20 °C (36 °F). Para apagar el
aparato, oprima el botón de encendido/apagado
ON/OFF; el indicador luminoso rojo se apagará.
Nunca descuide ni abandone el aparato después
de encenderlo. Para su seguridad, el aparato se
apagará automáticamente después de 60
minutos.

FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
Divida el cabello en secciones de 2 pulgadas (5
cm) de ancho por ½ pulgada (1.5cm) o menos de
espesor. Peine el cabello lentamente de la raíz a
las puntas, manteniendo la tensión. Repita el
proceso con cada sección de cabello, hasta
conseguir el estilo deseado. Según la textura del
cabello, puede que sea necesario repetir el
proceso varias veces en cada sección.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al principio.
Con práctica, encontrará la manera perfecta para
alisar su cabello fácil y rápidamente.
NOTA: véase la tabla a continuación para
determinar qué nivel de temperatura usar, según
el tipo de cabello.
NOTA: no utilice este aparato sobre cabello
sintético/extensiones.
