9.4 Replacing the backup battery on the control board of the
Condair GS
1. Set the Condair GS out of operation as described in chapter 7.5.
2. Undothescrew(phillipsscrewdriver)andremovetherightfrontpanel.
CAUTION!
The electroniccomponentsinsidethehumidierarevery sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
Beforecarryingoutthenextstep,appropriatemeasuresmustbetakentoprotecttheelectronic
componentsagainstdamagecausedbyelectrostaticdischarge(ESDprotection).
3. Undothe2screws“A”ofthedisplayandcontrolunit,thencarefullyremovethedisplayandcontrol
unit to the front.
4. Undothe7fasteningscrews“B”ofthecontrolboard,thencarefullypull-offthecontrolboardfrom
the display and control unit assembly.
5. Replacethebackupbattery(CR2032,Lithium3V).
6. Reassemble the unit in reverse order.
7. If necessary set date and time (see operating instructions of the control).

recyclinginaccordancewithlocalregulations.Innocasetheoldbatterymustbe
disposedofinthedomesticwasteorintotheenvironment.
