5.5.2 Leak testing
Aftercompletionoftheinstallationwork,thewholegaslinemustbetestedtoamaximumpressure
of40mbar(4.0kPa)fornaturalgasor150mbar(15kPa)forpropaneandcheckedforleaksus-
ingacommerciallyavailablesoapsolution.Thebubblesindicateleaks.Allleaksmustbeeliminated
beforethehumidierisputintooperation.
DANGER!
Neveruseanopenametocheckforleaks.Thepresenceofanyleakageisasourceofdanger
topersonsandtoproperty,duetothepossibilityofreandexplosion.
Ifthegascircuitmustbetestedtoapressureofover150mbar(15kPa),thegassupplypipemust
be removed from the unit connection. After the test, the gas line must be depressurized before it is
reconnected to the unit.
CAUTION!
Non-observance of the above instruction can lead to damage to the gas pressure regulating valve.
Gas pressure valves overloaded due to high pressure are not covered by the manufacturer‘s
guarantee.
5.5.3 Conversioninstructionsforoperatingthehumidierwithanothertypeofgas
Exworkstheapplianceisequippedtooperateononetypeofgas.Toconvertanapplianceforopera-
tiononanothertypeofgas,followthedirectionsbelow(seealsoillustrationonthefollowingpage).
Important:Theconversionshallbecarriedoutbyamanufacturer’sauthorizedrepresentative
orpersontrainedandlicencedforsuchactivities,inaccordancewiththerequirementsofthe
manufacturerorlocalauthoritieshavingjurisdictionintheareaofinstallation.
1. Disconnectthehumidierfromtheelectricalpowersupplyandtakeprecautionsagainstinadvert-
entswitchingon.
2. Turn off gas supply to appliance and secure it against inadvertent open ing.
3. Undothescrew(s)(phillipsscrewdriver)andremovetherightsidepanel(s).
4. Disconnectthehose(s)fromtheinletelbow(notethelayout).Then,loosenthehoseclampand
removetheinletelbow.
5. Undothecouplingofthecorrespondingexiblegaspipeanddisconnectgaspipefromthegas
pressure regulating valve.
6. Disconnectelectricalcablestothegaspressureregulatingvalveandtheairpressureswitch
(note assignment before removal).
7. Undothetwoscrewsthatmounttheventurimanifoldtothecombustionairblower,thenliftup
themanifoldtogetherwiththegaspressureregulatingvalve.
8. Undo the four screws and remove the gas pipe connection of the gas pressure regulating
valve.
9. Undothethreescrewsoftheairpressureswitchsupportandremovethepressureswitchas-
sembly from the gas pressure regulating valve.
10.Checkthecorkgasket andtheO-ring in thegaspipe connectionfordamageand replaceif
necessary.
