LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your
unit free of charge for 24 months from the date of
purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship
or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the
defective product to the service center listed below,
together with your purchase receipt and $3.00 for
postage and handling. California residents need
only provide proof of purchase and should call
1-800-366-0937 for shipping instructions. In the
absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period
shall be 24 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR
LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 24
MONTH DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED
WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR

TO TRIM YOUR GOATEE AND OTHER
PRECISION TRIMMING
For precision trimming of tight areas, you will
need to use the 8mm detailing blade.
1. Remove any guide comb that may be attached
to the trimmer.
2. With the power on or off, simply slide the top
button forward to change from the main trim-
ming blade to the 8mm detailing blade. This
easy motion disengages the trimmer blade and
activates the detailing blade.
3. Trim goatee or any other tight areas.
4. When precision trimming is completed,
slide the button back and the detailing blade
retracts.
5. The trimmer blade is now ready to use again.
SHAVING FOIL
Your trimmer includes a shaving foil. When
attached, it will allow you to shave close and
around your facial hair to provide an extra clean
look. Just move the shaving head in an up and
down gentle stroke to remove any stray hairs.
Be sure not to press to hard, as that could cause
some skin irritation.
After each use clean the shaving head as
follows:
1. Make sure the appliance off.
2. Remove the shaver head from the unit.
3. Remove the foil head from the shaving head
(press the two buttons on either side of the
shaving head and pull the foil head away).
4. Use the cleaning brush to gently remove
any hairs from the cutter and shaving head.
ON/OFF SWITCH
To operate, simply slide switch toward blade, to
stop push slide away from blade.
CARE OF YOUR TRIMMER
REPLACEMENT (REMOVAL) OF BLADE SET
To remove blade set from your
trimmer, make sure the trimmer
is in the OFF position. Remove
the blade set by placing thumb
against the smaller cutter and
pushing forward, releasing
the cutter assembly from the
trimmer housing. Replace with attachment and
reverse the removal procedure, only this time
place your thumb on the large cutter and snap
into place. Make sure the taper control is set to
the longest #1 position.
BATTERY REMOVAL
1. Pop-off decorative plate on bottom housing
(1).
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver,
remove the two screws (2) at the back of the
trimmer.
3. Take the top housing (3) off the bottom
housing (4).
4. Remove the 4 screws (5 and 6) in the bat-
tery cover (7). Bring the batteries to the nearest
collection center for proper disposal. DO NOT
throw the battery into the normal municipal
waste system.

PERILLA Y OTROS CORTES
DE DETALLE
Utilice la cuchilla de detalle de 8 mm para todos
los cortes que requieren precisión, como la
perilla y otros cortes de detalle.
1. Apague la recortadora (OFF) y saque el peine-
guía de la cuchilla para barba y bigote si tiene
uno puesto.
2. Deslice el botón SWITCHUT™ para retraer
la cuchilla para barba y bigote. La cuchilla de
detalle de 8 mm saldrá automáticamente.
3. Corte el pelo en las zonas deseadas.
4. Deslice el botón otra vez para retraer la
cuchilla de detalle.
5. Puede seguir usando la cuchilla para barba y
bigote si desea.
CÓMO USAR LA RASURADORA
Su sistema de recorte también incluye un
cabezal de rasuradora que se adapta sobre la
recortadora para proporcionar un afeitado al ras
extra limpio. Mueva la rasuradora lentamente,
sin apretar mucho.
Limpie la rasuradora después de cada uso:
1. Asegúrese que el aparato esté apagado
(“OFF”).
2. Saque el cabezal de rasuradora.
3. Oprima los botones en ambos lados del
cabezal para sacar la hoja.
4. Limpie la hoja y el cabezal con el cepillo de
limpieza provisto.

Para encender el aparato, deslice el botón de
encendido/apagado hacia arriba (“ON”). Para
apagar el aparato, deslice el botón de encen-
dido/apagado hacia abajo (“OFF”).
MANTENIMIENTO
CAMBIO DEL JUEGO DE CUCHILLAS
Para sacar el juego de
cuchillas: Apague el aparato
(OFF). Sostenga el aparato
con el botón de encendido/
apagado frente su cuerpo y
empuje la cuchilla pequeña
con el pulgar.
Para instalar el juego de cuchillas: Asegúrese
que el botón de ajuste del recorte esté en la
posición más larga (no.1). Ensarte el juego de
cuchilla sobre el cabezal de la recortadora y
empuje la cuchilla grande para encajarlo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE REMOCIÓN DE LA PILA
1. Saque la placa decorativa (1) que se
encuentra bajo la unidad.
2. Remueva los tornillos ubicados en la parte
trasera de la unidad (2), usando un destornil-
lador cruciforme pequeño.
3. Separe la parte superior (3) de la parte
inferior (4) de la unidad.
4. Remueva los 4 tornillos (5) de la cubierta
del compartimiento de la pila. Lleve la pila al
centro de reciclaje o de recogida de pilas más
cercano. NO la tire a la basura.
