How do I take care of my hot roller hair setter?
Your hair setter is designed for household use and is nearly maintenance free. If the time
comes when you need to clean it, disconnect the appliance from the power source before
you start. Allow the setter to cool before wiping it clean with a cloth. You might also want to
clean your rollers, which you can do with a damp cloth and a mild detergent or soap. If you
have any concerns about your hair setter, unplug it, allow it to cool and contact our service
center.
I dropped my electrical appliance in the water. What should I do?
If your electrical appliance falls into the sink, bathtub or other vessel containing water, do
not reach into the water to grab it. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet first. Even
if the power is off, an appliance can still be electrically live and is dangerous. Let the unit
cool down and then remove it from the water. The appliance will be unsafe to use and
should be discarded after it has gotten wet.
My appliance is not dual voltage. Can I still use it abroad?
If your Conair product is not dual voltage, you will need a converter to step down the foreign
220 volts to the U.S. standard 110 volts.
