INFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL PARA
LOS SECADORES DE DOBLE VOLTAJE
Coloque el selector de voltaje sobre 125 para
uso en los Estados Unidos. Para uso en países
con sistemas eléctricos de 250 voltios, coloque
el selector sobre 250. Averigüe el nivel de la
corriente antes de usar el aparato. Para usar el
aparato con un sistema de 250 voltios, use un
adaptador adecuado.
Operación 110-125 Voltios
Coloque el selector de voltaje sobre 125. El
aparato funcionará con todos los ajustes de
calor y de velocidad.
Operación 220-250 Voltios
Coloque el interruptor en la posición LO y el
selector de voltaje sobre 250. El aparato fun-
cionará con calor y velocidad altos únicamente.
No cambie la velocidad o la selección de voltaje
cuando use el aparato con un sistema de 220-
250 voltios. Póngalos y déjelos en las posiciones
LO y 250. Un adaptador puede ser necesario en
ciertos países.
INSTRUCCIONES DE
MANTENIMIENTO
Su secador casi no necesita mantenimiento. No
necesita lubricación. Para que funcione correcta-
mente, debe mantenerlo limpio. Cuando necesita
limpiarlo, desenchúfelo, déjelo enfriar y saque el
polvo y las pelusas de las aberturas de aire con
un cepillo pequeño o el cepillo accesorio de una
aspiradora. La superficie exterior del secador
sólo se debe limpiar con un paño limpio.
El secador se recalentará si las aberturas
de aire están bloqueadas u obstruidas. En
tal caso, un sistema de seguridad automático
apagará el secador o cortará la temperatura
para evitar daños o lesiones personales. Si esto
sucede, desenchufe el aparato y deje que se
enfríe de 10 a 15 minutos antes de encenderlo
de nuevo. Asegúrese que las ventilaciones de
aire están limpias.
PRECAUCIÓN
NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable
eléctrico. Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor
del secador. Esto podría dañar la junta flexible
que lo conecta al secador, produciendo su rup-
tura o un cortocircuito. Inspeccione el cable con
frecuencia para asegurarse que no está dañado.
Deje de usar el aparato inmediatamente si
el cable parece dañado, si el aparato deja
de funcionar o funciona de manera intermi-
tente.
Si el cable o el aparato están dañados o no
funcionan correctamente, regrese el aparato a
la tienda donde lo compró, o llévelo a un centro
de servicio autorizado únicamente. No trate de
repararlo.
ALMACENAJE – Importante
Cuando no utiliza el aparato, desconéctelo, déjelo
enfriar y guárdelo en un lugar seco y seguro,
fuera del alcance de los niños. No enrolle el
cable alrededor del aparato. Deje que el cable
cuelgue o que la junta que lo conecta al secador
esté suelta y recta.

aparato sin cargo por un período de 24 meses a

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
FOR DUAL VOLTAGE DRYERS
For use in the U.S.A., the voltage selector switch
should be placed in the 125 position.
For use in several countries overseas, the volt-
age selector may need to be placed in the
250 position. Confi rm the voltage available
at each overseas location before using the
appliance. For connection to a 250 volt supply,
use an attachment plug adapter of the proper
confi guration for the power supply receptacle.
For 125 Volt Operation
Flick the dual voltage switch to the 125 position.
In this position, the dryer operates in all avail-
able heat and speed settings.
For 250 Volt Operation
First put the HI-LO switch into LO. Flick the dual
voltage switch to the 250 position. At 250 while
set at LO, the dryer operates only at high speed
with high heat. Do not attempt to operate the HI-
LO switch or change to 125 when operating on
220-250V. The switches must be set and remain
in the LO and 250 positions. A plug adapter may
be necessary in certain countries.
USER MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance-free. No
lubrication is needed. For proper operating per-
formance, the dryer must be kept clean. When
cleaning is needed, unplug the cord, and clean
dust and lint from air intake openings with a small
brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum
cleaner. The outer surface of the dryer should be
wiped clean with a cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will
cause the dryer to overheat. If overheating
occurs, an automatic safety device will shut
the dryer or the heat off to prevent damage or
personal injury. If the unit or the heat cycles off,
unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool for
10 to 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure
the air vents are clean.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the dryer. Damage will occur at
the high flex point of entry into the dryer, caus-
ing it to rupture and short. Inspect the cord
frequently for damage. Stop use immediately
if damage is visible or unit stops or operates
intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not operate
properly, return it for repair to an authorized Conair
service representative only. No repairs should be
attempted by the consumer.
STORAGE - Important
When not in use, your dryer should be
disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a
safe, dry location, out of reach of children. Do
not wrap line cord around dryer. Allow the
cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the point
of entry into the dryer.
LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your
appliance free of charge for 24 months from the
date of purchase if the appliance is defective in
workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the
defective product to the service center listed
below, together with your sales slip and $5.00
for postage and handling. California residents
need only provide proof of purchase and should
call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In
the absence of a receipt, the warranty period shall
be 24 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR
LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILI TY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 24
MONTH DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Some
states do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may
not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE
