Overview
This chapter describes the cables and pinouts for DeviceMaster products and
covers the following topics:

• RJ45 Serial Cables and Loopback Plugs
DB9 Serial Cables and Loopback Plugs
This section describe how to build your own null-modem or straight-through DB9
serial cables and loopback plugs.
The following DeviceMaster models support DB9 connectors:
• DeviceMaster AIR
• DeviceMaster PRO
• DeviceMaster RTS
• DeviceMaster Serial Hub (RS-232 only)
• DeviceMaster UP
