This screen allows the user to configure the LAN interface IP address, subnet mask
and DHCP server. To assign dynamic IP address, DNS server and default gateway
to other LAN devices, select Enable DHCP server and enter the start and end IP
addresses and DHCP leased time.
Since the router occupies the first two IP addresses (192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2),
the default private address range provided by the ISP server in the router is
192.168.1.3 through 192.168.1.254.
Select Enable DHCP Server Relay (if available, see note below), and enter the
DHCP Server IP Address. This allows the router to relay the DHCP packets from the
remote DHCP server. The remote DHCP server will provide the IP address.
NOTE: If the NAT function is enabled (default), Enable DHCP Server Relay
won’t be displayed as an option.
To configure a secondary IP address for the LAN port, click the box as shown below.
Step 7: Click Next to continue. To enable the wireless function, select the radio
button (as shown), input a new SSID (if desired).
Click Next to display the final setup screen.
