9.3 SNMP Agent

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) allows a management application

to retrieve statistics and status from the SNMP agent in this device.

Select desired settings and click Save/Apply to apply changes.

Enable or Disable the SNMP Agent.

Relationship between an Agent and Managers

Read

Community:

Default is “public”

Set Community: Default is “private”

System Name: Default is “Comtrend”

System Location: Shows the location of the system.

System Contact: Shows the who should be contacted about the host the agent

is running on.

Trap Manager IP: Trap request supports to monitor and alarm via port 162 from

Agent.
