6.8 DSL

The DSL Settings screen allows for the selection of DSL modulation modes. For

optimum performance, the modes selected should match those of your ISP.

Modulation Data Transmission Rate - Mbit/s (Megabits per second)

G.Dmt Downstream: 12 Mbit/s Upstream: 1.3 Mbit/s

G.lite Downstream: 4 Mbit/s Upstream: 0.5 Mbit/s

T1.413 Downstream: 8 Mbit/s Upstream: 1.0 Mbit/s

ADSL2 Downstream: 12 Mbit/s Upstream: 1.0 Mbit/s

AnnexL Supports longer loops but with reduced transmission rates

ADSL2+ Downstream: 24 Mbit/s Upstream: 1.0 Mbit/s

AnnexM Downstream: 24 Mbit/s Upstream: 3.5 Mbit/s
