Appendix A. QUICK START GUIDE
A.1 Introduction
This appendix illustrates how to quickly configure a pair of CDM-570/570L or similar Comtech
EF Data IP-compatible modems (referred to hereafter as the CDM-IP modems) using a
CDD-56X as the demodulator.
By following this Quick Start Guide, the user – beginning with the factory default settings – may
be able to pass traffic within a matter of minutes.

This document assumes that the user is familiar with the configuration and the
operation of both the CDM-IP modem and the CDD-56x demodulator.
