3.7 CRS-170A Switch DIP Settings
Figure 3-3 shows the DIP switches for setting the ‘Mode’ and ‘Switch Conditions’ on the
Antenna Side of the CRS-170A L-Band 1:1 Redundancy Switch (toward BUC and LNB). The
difference of the ‘Mode’ DIP switch silk screening between the original and current (Rev. A and
later) versions of the CRS-170A is illustrated here.

Table 3-1 illustrates the settings for the ‘Mode’ DIP switch set on a per-modem basis, and the
‘Switch Conditions’ DIP switch settings that determine switchover functionality for a given
redundancy configuration.
