By choosing “” under any network, the following opons appear:
 - Normally, when NX is set back to factory defaults (via ), all the network sengs
(including the main Ethernet) are erased. By seng this opon to “”, the sengs for this network will be preserved
aer factory reset. Cauon should be used, as it’s possible to “lock yourself out” of the NX by seng the Ethernet
parameters incorrectly.
- Normally enabled, this opon allows you to specify that this network port will not be ulized as
part of a  connecon. This may be valuable when using one port for control purposes only and a secondary
port for  media.
- Normally enabled, this opon instructs NX not to respond to the “” funcon used by 
. Cauon - without the “scan” funcon,  is disabled.
