The Switchboard Traversal Server is a service built and maintained by Comrex on the public Internet that provides users
a directory of other users, in order to facilitate connecons to devices that would normally have trouble accepng
incoming IP connecons. Use of Switchboard is free and comes acvated from the factory.
The next secon describes how to set up and congure Switchboard. For , go to page
69.

Navigate to .
The two choices under the Switchboard Server are  and . To use Switchboard,
must be enabled. Seng the  to “enable” will allow you to see the other units
on the account, even if they are not currently online.

In order to use Switchboard, you must rst have an account with the server. You can obtain an account by contacng
Comrex at [phone] / 800-237-1776, or by emailing [e-mail] / [e-mail]. Only one account
is required for each group of codecs.
Once a username and password is provided, navigate to  in a browser.
The rst me you log in to Switchboard, you will see a noce stang that no units have been added to the account. By
clicking on , you will be prompted to input the MAC Address as the Switchboard ID of the NX you wish
