Proles are what dene the behavior and type of connecon for your codecs in both direcons. Proles are separate
from remotes, which dene the desnaon to connect to.
When using NX, the point where the connecon originates controls all available connecon parameters in both
direcons. Keep in mind that these proles are useful only for connecons iniated from the local ACCESS. Incoming
connecons are dened by the ACCESS at the other end.
NX has many opons to opmize connecons based on your broadcasng needs (the number of locaons you broadcast
to, the diversity of connecons you use, network availability, etc.). Your specic needs will dictate how simple or intricate
your prole and remote sengs will be. NX comes with a series of proles that are opmized for the majority of IP and
POTS connecons. Many users may never need to dene their own proles.
