Proles are what dene the behavior and type of connecon for your codecs in both direcons. Proles are separate
from remotes, which dene the desnaon to connect to.
When using NX, the point where the connecon originates controls all available connecon parameters in both
direcons. Keep in mind that these proles are useful only for connecons iniated from the local ACCESS. Incoming
connecons are dened by the ACCESS at the other end.
NX has many opons to opmize connecons based on your broadcasng needs (the number of locaons you broadcast
to, the diversity of connecons you use, network availability, etc.). Your specic needs will dictate how simple or intricate
your prole and remote sengs will be. NX comes with a series of proles that are opmized for the majority of IP and
POTS connecons. Many users may never need to dene their own proles.
