When you rst aach the Wi-Fi adapter, you must enable it before using it or scanning with it. You can enable the Wi-Fi
adapter by selecng it in the list and selecng  or choose “” under the WLAN opon and set it to “”.
NX allows you to “scan” for acve Wi-Fi Access Points, much like a computer or smartphone. This is done via the
” opon under the WLAN adapter. Pressing “” will deliver a list of acve Wi-Fi networks. You can choose a
network from the scan results, choose “, and then edit the locaon for WEP or WPA passwords.

Cellular-based wireless modems will appear as their model name. Under most circumstances, the default sengs are
correct for these modems, and they are enabled by default. It is possible to modify the APN seng if the default is not
correct by choosing the SIM opon under conguraon and choosing “APN. You can input the new APN value into the
eld manually.
You can also choose among pre-programmed APNs based on the list of carriers programmed into NX. By seng the
, “” and “” opon, the list will suggest the proper APN seng for your carrier.
