UltraSpec Analyzer Top Panel
RS232 Serial Port
Provides for data communications between the UltraSpec analyzer
and the host computer, via the Model 639 Communications cable.
Provides for connection to an external modem via the Model 705
Modem Kit. Provides for connection to an external printer via the
Model 720A Printer Interface; or to any printer supported by
MicroSoft Windows operating system via CSI’s Virprint program.
Provides for connection to the Model 821510 Direct Connect Inter-
face.
Provides for connection to the 8000RF Interface (radio frequency
interface box for laser system).
Provides for connection to a variety of signal input devices.
Caution!
Do not connect any adapters or accessories to the RS232 serial port
while the analyzer is turned on.
Charger Input
Provides an input for the Model 8211 or Model 8212 battery
chargers. In the UltraSpec 8000 analyzer, it provides an input for the
Model A2115-C battery charger. In the UltraSpec 8117 analyzer, it
provides an input for the Model 93140 power supply, 8211 battery
charger, or 8212 battery charger.
Power Output
Provides power for the Model 404 series phototach.
Tach Signal Input
This connection is used to connect the cable from a TTL pulse generator,
typically a Model 404 series or 401B tachometer.
