Note

Depending on the amount of memory available, no more than

six applications can be loaded into the Analyzer at the same

time. In an analyzer with only 0.5 MB of memory available no

more than one or two applications can be loaded at the same

time depending on the application.

Note

Although individual ﬁrmware programs are shipped on sepa-

rate diskettes, all programs serialized for the same instrument

can be copied to a single diskette (for downloading) if desired.

To do this, copy all *.DLH and *.TSK ﬁles to the base ﬁrmware

diskette.

Note

After loading ﬁrmware and application(s) in an UltraSpec 8000

analyzer, check the calibration factors (see “Review Calibra-

tion” on page 2-32).

Note

The Calibration values can be automatically loaded into the

analyzer when the ﬁrmware is loaded. For more information,

see the “Calibration Write Program” on page 2-39.
