Use the following detailed procedures to download firmware or applications
into the analyzer from either a DOS- or Windows-based computer.
Note
When you are loading either firmware or applications, begin
with the firmware diskette first.
DOS Download Procedure
1. ··· Connect the analyzer to the COM1 port of the computer using the
supplied communications cable.
2.··· On the computer, place the floppy disk containing the firmware into
drive A (or B) and at the command prompt, type:
A: (or B:) and press the Enter key (also called the Return key).
3.··· Type DOWNLOAD, then press the Enter key.
