Adding an ASCII terminal printer to an existing queue
Use the following procedure to add an ASCII terminal printer to an existing queue.
Prerequisites
To perform this task, you must be one of the following:
• User with root authority
• A member of the printq group
smit command
1. At the system prompt, enter:
smit mkpqprt
2. Select the ascii attachment type, manufacturer, printer model, and tty name.
3. Provide additional information as prompted.
