13. srb.pack – (SRB Management Tools)
This package comprises the tools for the SRB management and is a prerequisite for all the
srb.<ProductName> packages. It gives tools to manage the SRBs contained on various
Bull Specific CD–ROMs.
Once this package has been installed, you have access to the following: # smit SRB
The following menu will be proposed:
• Load SRB from media
• Print installed SRB
• List installed SRB
• View installed SRB
Note: It is possible to view an SRB without the use of those tools, since SRB files are in
the/usr/share/man/mann directory once they are installed, by using vi or pg.
Restrictions and Limitations
Load SRB from media runs only on AIX 4.1. On AIX 4.3.2 load it by the smit command:
# smit install_selectable_all
Choose the desired srb package (all srb package names begin with ’srb’).
All other menus of srb pack are then available.
LANG=en_US must be set before calling Read SRB.
