3-4 Fastener Torque Speci cations
Most fasteners and threaded components listed
should be coated with Never-Seez® or equiva-
lent prior to assembly. Certain fasteners or
components require the application of Loctite®
before installation. It is important to rst refer-
ence the corresponding assembly drawing to
obtain such information.
All tapered pipe thread connections be sealed
and locked using Loctite 569™ hydraulic seal-
ant. Use of Loctite cleaning solvents activators
7471™ or 7649™ should be used on inactive
metals and to speed curing process.
