5 Using the CVG-41VGA 4x1 VGA / XGA Switcher
Section 5.1 describes how to use your CVG-41VGA as a 4x1 VGA / XGA
Switcher. Section 5.2 describes how to use your CVG-41VGA as a 1x4 VGA /
XGA Switcher.
5.1 Using the CVG-41VGA as a 4x1 VGA / XGA Switcher
To use your CVG-41VGA as a 4x1 VGA / XGA Switcher, do the following:
1. Connect up to four VGA video sources to the four IN HD15 connectors.
2. Connect the OUTPUT HD15 connector to the VGA video acceptor.
Press one of the four input selector buttons to route that source to the acceptor.
5.2 Using the CVG-41VGA, as a 1x4 VGA / XGA Switcher
To use your CVG-41VGA “backwards”, as a 1x4 VGA / XGA Switcher, do the
following:
1. Connect the VGA video source to the OUTPUT HD15 connector.
2. Connect the four IN HD15 connectors to up to four VGA video acceptors.
Press the four selector buttons to route the source to the acceptors.
