Compool/EasyTouch Pool and Spa Control System Upgrade Installation and User’s Guide
Installing the Compool/EasyTouch Upgrade Control Panel
(Compool Load Center with sub-panel)
To install the Compool/EasyTouch control panel:
1. Hold the transformer assembly to allow the control panel to be mounted, then slide the control panel
onto the load center hinges.
2. Mount the transformer assembly in position. Reuse the four mounting screws to secure the
transformer assembly.
3. Connect all the necessary connectors to the EasyTouch circuit board. For connector locations, see
“Compool/EasyTouch Upgrade Circuit board Wiring Diagram” on page 76.
Note: If replacing the transformer, continue with “Installing the Compool/EasyTouch
Transformer in a Compool Load Center (with sub-panel)” below.
4. Close the control panel and tighten the retaining screw.
5. Place the front door on its hinges. Tighten the hinge nut.
6. Close the front door and close the latch.
Installing the Compool/EasyTouch Upgrade Transformer in a Compool Load Center (with sub-
panel)
For Compool CP2000 and older systems the existing transformer is removed and replaced with the
transformer included with the Compool/EasyTouch Upgrade with Transformer Kit (P/N 521247). Otherwise,
CP3xxx systems require P/N 521107. See page 70. The new transformer (3 wires) supplies the correct
power for the EasyTouch circuit board. Remove the old transformer along with the attached terminal block
and wires and discard. The transformer can be configured for 115 VAC or 230 VAC input power (as shown
on page 75).
